Position Summary
The Lender Relations Manager will be responsible for inviting strategic direct lenders across various lending verticals into our marketplace. You will find the right contact at each lender & explain the benefits of being in the marketplace, how to update their lending programs & negotiate compensation or advertising fees to be listed in the marketplace. We will provide lists of target lenders, but you are expected to find and qualify additional lenders as needed.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
- Obtain a thorough understanding of LendingWise products, features, & benefits… Specifically the lender/investor marketplace
- Work with technical staff and product specialists to enhance the features and functionality of the lender marketplace.
- Establish lender relationships with qualified direct lenders across numerous lending verticals for residential investment property, CRE, business funding, & Equipment
- Upsell lenders into our CRM & LOS platform
- Be prepared to help build out a deal desk business model that helps place loans by co-brokering with other brokers
- Prospect for potential customers using various tools & direct methods such as cold calling, E-mailing, direct mail and indirect methods such as networking/social selling.
- Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
- Provide feedback to upper management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings.
- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- STRONG ability to work independently & be self motivated
- Detailed knowledge & experience in private/commercial loan originations & deep understating of loan guidelines
- Very computer literate using browser based apps like Gsuite, Google docs/sheets, CRMs, etc…
Requirements
- 5+ years of Private/Commercial lending loan origination, underwriting, processing and/or manager level experience
- Experience identifying and working with many direct lenders in any of these verticals: residential investment property, CRE, business funding, & Equipment
- Experience with selling technology/software related products OR strong mortgage lending , business funding, financial services
Preferred
- Bachelors degree preferred, but not required
- Experience working with external channel partners
- Experience selling within SMB organizations & enterprises
Compensation
- Competitive base salary & commission for exceeding min quotas
- 2 weeks paid time off annually
- Annual Bonus
